My daughter Mikayla has autism and Taryn has been her personal trainer for about 3 years. Taryn shows extreme patience and a wonderful ability to listen to Mikayla’s stories and at the same time gets her to do a variety of exercises varying from cardio to strength training routines. Mikayla will at times get frustrated with the work out, but Taryn has a way of re-directing and has helped her to understand the importance of exercising. Taryn is absolutely amazing! My daughter has mild cerebral palsy, and she not only has become so much stronger since joining Fit Girls but also she has gained so much confidence in her self and abilities. It is the outstanding instructors, like Taryn who strive to encourage these young women to try their best each and every class and to be strong outside the studio. I am overjoyed that my daughter is excited to attend her sessions with Taryn and build the habit of physical activity into her weekly routine.
